Arati is a sugar florist and a sugar flower tutor. She creates realistic and natural-looking sugar flowers with edible flower paste and enjoys experimenting with materials, tools, and new techniques. In her studio, she is in the happiest space and the joy of recreating some of nature’s wonders gives her immense pleasure. As a tutor, her practice helps grow this unique craft into an art form and shares all the skills, old & new techniques, personal experiences & learning, with others. She is the winner of the Cake Masters Magazine Sugar Flowers Award 2018, India’s Top Ten Cake Artist 2017 & 2018, and 1st place GOLD winner at CI, 2018 . Her work has been featured in various National and International Magazines and she has been a judge for several international and national competitions as well.

Samie J Ramachandran is the director of Sugar Sculpt Academy Bangalore. He has been awarded the Top 10 Cake Artist in 2017 and 2018 in India by Cake Masters Magazine and has also been a finalist of Cake Masters award for Rising Star Award 2018. He has won the Cake Hero Award from ICA. A computer engineer by profession who fell in love with cakes and took it as a profession. Her versatile works include mainly Couture Cakes, Wedding Cakes, Sugar Flowers, and Chandelier Cakes, with the use of various skilled techniques.
She also enjoys sharing her knowledge and skills by taking classes and has taught thousands of students across the Globe.
She has won a few online cake-decorating competitions. She has been working with many national and international brands like Magic Colours, Marvelous Molds, Cakingitup, NyCakes, EvilCakeGenius, MoleekCakes, Arkon Mounts and many more.
She has had tutorials published in Cake Decorating Magazines like Cake Masters UK magazine, Incredible India Magazine and American Cake Decorating Magazine and blogs.
